A blistering tale of two estranged sisters...
Shortly after the loss of their grandmother, Isabelle and Tessa Rayne also lose their parents as a result of a horrific attack, fueled by a classic mix-up. The two girl lose consciousness soon after, and they awake with heads filled to the brim with strange foreign memories. As they wander aimlessly through their quiet little town, they begin to discover the painful answers and the shocking meanings behind the rhymes and lullabies, passed down through the Rayne family for countless generations. The answers include, a positively mad, un-dead jester from ancient Denmark, a masked and forgotten messiah, carnies, gloom, comedy, deceit, and endless confusion -all histories bathed in a ocean of Secrecy and three lakes of Exaggeration.

Oblivion Ocean
by Daniel Gildenlow
Sleep is too quiet
dreams are too painful
truth is the bed of this ocean of lies.
Sinking through layers of untouched oblivion
soaking from spirits but still far too dry.
Losing all barbed fences
Lucid - no defenses
"Where is my mother?" the child asked the soldier.
The soldier was watching them both fade away.
Nine words create an oblivion ocean:
"Dad tell me, will I be dead very long?"
Losing all I lived for. Losing all I fought for.
Oh god if you save them I swear I'll always hold them in my hand!
Oh god if you save them I'd take them west
we'd start again in the promised land.
When life is wearing thin we pray: the gods are close at hand when man is
astray. But when it all is said and done - is he to thank the gods for just
taking his son?
Sleep is too quiet, dreams are too painful
truth is the bed of this ocean of lies.
Words can create an oblivion ocean:
"dad tell me, will I be dead very long?"
Losing all I lived for. Losing all I fought for.
Oh god if you save them I swear I'll always hold them in my hand.
Oh god if you save them I'd take them west
we'd start again (then) in the promised land.

I must say, awe-some work, I love the story line, though what little of it that I know, but it's fantastic, it and your artwork. Seriously, keep it up dude. Or you might have an angry mob after you...
Thank you so much.
I'm trying my best to keep it up. Though I run out of fuel from time to time, I always get around to modifying small details or coming up with new ideas. The best are the ideas that I get from comments on these drawings. So help me write the story and tell me what you think when you see the characters in future drawings. =]
